Scoped permissions
Each AI worker receives only the data, tools and operations needed for its defined task. Unrestricted enterprise access is not required.
Clear technical and human boundaries, agreed for each implementation—from the first integration through production operation.
Each AI worker receives only the data, tools and operations needed for its defined task. Unrestricted enterprise access is not required.
Integrations use agreed APIs, connectors or other approved interfaces. Available interfaces, data requirements and client permissions determine the scope.
Credentials are provisioned through the agreed access process. Tools are allowlisted for each role; AI workers cannot add tools or grant themselves more authority.
Consequential actions in the agreed authority matrix require recorded approval from the designated human before execution. Routine actions execute only within explicitly delegated scope. Technical capability and access do not grant business authority.
Failed validation holds the affected action when requirements, evidence or permissions do not match. Uncertainty is escalated rather than treated as a successful result.
Data sources, allowed uses, model providers, storage, retention and access responsibilities are agreed for each implementation before operational use.
Go-live follows an acceptance decision, agreed operating responsibilities and a recovery plan. Material changes to models, permissions or integrations return through review.
Not every workflow should use AI, and not every decision should be automated. Human authority remains defined throughout delivery and operation.
The implementation defines roles, permitted actions, evidence requirements, escalation owners and acceptance criteria. These are service design requirements to agree and verify in the implementation, not evidence of a deployed client system or a claim of certification.
